For the past 40+ years I have lived and ridden horseback in the Sonoran Desert and South Eastern Arizona. I've traveled lots of country and always find each ride has its own rhythm and energy. This rhythm and energy derives from the nature all around us of which we are a part. My horse's breath and hoofbeats along with my breath sync into the ribs of saguaros, the grains of sand, the lightness of the air, wispy wind, and bold sun. We so uniquely different become one entity. There is no feeling on earth like this for me. I am overwhelmed with gratitude to have this in my life anytime I wish to venture down this path. I wish this for all people...to find their own space where they can expand their lungs and breath, feel a deep soul connection to the earth, their homes, their lives...
