You’re invited to celebrate the holiday season with us at Silver Heart Ranch! Join us for a Holiday Horse Circle Meditation and Cookie Exchange that is sure to serve up a big batch of comfort and joy for the holidays. This is our annual charity event! We will be supporting the Resources Vail Food Bank. https://resourcesvail.org/ What better way to get ready for the season than to gather with like-minded people, awesome horses, cookies, fun, and supporting an important resource for the community? A gathering like this is how we can be part of something beneficial for those who need a helping hand. What is a Horse Circle Meditation? During a Horse Circle Meditation, we will sit in chairs in a large circle within the horse arena. The horses will be roaming freely in the arena as you engage in a guided meditation. While we meditate, the horses can interact with you in all sorts of ways. It’s so powerful, because I never know how the horses will show up for people, but I trust in their wisdom. They always know just what is needed. After the meditation, we will take some time to share our experiences and visit more with the horses. How does the Cookie Exchange work? Each person brings a dozen cookies. We place all the cookies on a table. Then each person takes an empty plate and walks around the table choosing a variety of cookies until they have a dozen different cookies on their plate to take home. This way, you get to try all sorts of cookies and have fun sharing recipes and holiday baking traditions with one another. Ready for more details? Here they are: • Wear close toed shoes or boots for safety around the horses • Dress for outdoor weather – layers are always a good way to go • Don’t forget to bring a hat and wear sunscreen • Bring a dozen cookies with you - Home baked is great but store bought is okay too • I will provide extra plates for the cookie exchange and both hot & cold drink options • Horses will not be ridden. No horse experience is needed • COST: Bring 5 or more non-perishable food items (please ensure they are not expired) OR you are welcome to give a money donation if you prefer. • Register on my website to hold your spot.
